At Urban AC Repairing (“Company”, “We”, “Us”), we strive to provide high-quality HVAC services. To ensure transparency and avoid disputes, this policy outlines the terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and warranties. By booking a service with us, you (“Customer”) agree to these terms.
1. Cancellation Policy
1.1. Pre-Visit Cancellation
- You may cancel your service appointment free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled arrival time.
- Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled slot may attract a cancellation fee of ₹100 to compensate for the technician’s reserved time.
1.2. On-Site Cancellation (Visiting Charge)
- If our technician arrives at your location and you cancel the service after arrival, a minimum Visiting Charge of ₹350 will be applicable.
- This charge covers the technician’s travel, fuel, and time reservation. It is non-negotiable and applies even if no repair work is performed.
1.3. Rescheduling
- You may reschedule your appointment once for free if the request is made at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled time. Subsequent rescheduling may be treated as a new booking.
2. Refund Policy
2.1. Labor & Service Charges
- No Refunds on Completed Labor: Once a service (repair, installation, gas filling, or cleaning) is completed and the AC is tested in working condition in front of the customer, labor charges are non-refundable.
- If the same issue reoccurs within the warranty period (see Section 3), we will re-visit and fix it free of labor charges. We will not refund the original labor fee.
2.2. Spare Parts
- No Returns on Installed Parts: Electronic and mechanical parts (Compressors, PCBs, Capacitors, Copper Pipes) once installed and tested cannot be returned or refunded.
- If a spare part supplied by us is found to be defective during the warranty period, we will replace the part. Cash refunds for parts are not provided.
2.3. Gas Filling
- Gas filling charges are non-refundable once the gas is successfully charged into the unit.
- We provide a 7-Day Leakage Warranty. If the gas leaks due to our workmanship within 7 days, we will refill it for free. After 7 days, any gas leakage is considered a new fault (due to vibration, corrosion, or external factors) and will be chargeable.
3. Warranty Terms
We stand by our work. Our warranty coverage is as follows:

Warranty Exclusions:
- Warranty is void if the appliance is serviced, repaired, or opened by a third-party technician or the customer themselves.
- Warranty does not cover damages caused by voltage fluctuation, electrical surges, or physical damage (rat bites, rust, etc.).
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service.
- We accept Cash, UPI (GPay/PhonePe), or Bank Transfer.
- If a diagnosis is performed and the customer decides not to proceed with the repair, the standard Visiting Charge is payable immediately.
5. Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint regarding the service quality:
- You must notify us within 24 hours of the service at info@urbanacrepairing.com or +91-7777937695.
- We will deploy a senior supervisor to inspect the issue. If the fault is found to be ours, we will rectify it free of cost.
- Demands for full refunds without allowing us an opportunity to re-inspect or rectify the issue will not be entertained.
