A stopped fan doesn’t always mean a dead motor. Before we quote you for a new motor (Expensive), we check:

The Capacitor

Often, the "Starter Capacitor" is weak (Cost: ₹650). Changing this makes the fan spin like new.

If the fan is jammed/stuck, simple Lubrication/Oiling might free it up.

The Diagnosis

We use a multimeter to check the "Winding Resistance." Only if the winding is Open/Burnt do we replace the motor.

Swing Motor

The flap (louver) is stuck or clicking.

This is dangerous. The compressor will overheat and trip. Turn it off. It is likely a Fan Motor failure or a bad Capacitor.

This happens if the Blower Bush is broken or the blower is unbalanced due to heavy dust. We replace the rubber bush (₹350).
