Why is Water Dripping from the Copper Pipe?

It’s not a leak inside the pipe. It’s condensation outside.

The Science

The copper pipe carries gas at 5°C. The room air is 35°C. When they meet, water droplets form (just like a cold soda bottle).

The Cause

If the Insulation Foam is torn, thin, or eaten by birds, the pipe "sweats" and ruins your wall paint.

The Fix: We strip the old foam and wrap it with Class-O Nitrile Rubber (Black). It provides a 100% thermal barrier.

Precision Brazing

We use Oxy-Acetylene welding to join the new pipe to the old one. We use a Swaging Tool to create a perfect overlap socket.

Pressure Test

Before connecting, we pressure test the joint to ensure the weld is leak-proof.

PVC Casing (Aesthetics)

We don't leave ugly taped pipes hanging. We install White PVC Channels (4-inch) to hide the pipes cleanly along the skirting or beam.

  • 100% Pure Mandev / Totaline (22 Gauge). We do not use Aluminium-mixed copper.
Insulation
  • Armacell / K-Flex Nitrile Rubber (9mm or 13mm thick).
Cable
  • Polycab / RR Kabel 3-Core or 4-Core outdoor grade wire.
Drain Pipe
  • Hard PVC (Rigid) instead of soft hose, to prevent sagging and blockage.

Why is the black foam on my pipes torn?
Birds love to peck on the insulation foam. If it’s torn, the cold copper pipe is exposed to sun, causing cooling loss.
Yes! We wrap new Nitrile Rubber Insulation and cover it with White/Black tape to restore efficiency. This costs very little but saves electricity.
Yes. Builders often install cheap aluminium pipes that leak in 2 years. We replace the entire line with 100% Pure Copper for long life.
Prices fluctuate with metal rates, but approx ₹250 – ₹350 per running foot (includes insulation and wire).
Yes, we can extend the length by brazing a new pipe section. We ensure zero leakage at the joint.

For concealed (underground) work, we use Hard Copper. For normal installation, we use Soft Copper coils which are flexible.

This is “Sweating”. If the insulation is poor, water condenses on the pipe and soaks the wall. We fix this by applying Thick Class-O Insulation.
Yes, if you don’t want ugly pipes visible in your room, we cover them with neat PVC Casing/Patti for a clean look.
We seal the ends and pump Nitrogen at 400 PSI. We leave it for 24 hours to ensure the pressure holds.
